Outline (in English)

Unless new technologies and knowledge are taken up and applied in society, they will end up being no more than a "pie in the sky". To ensure that new technologies are used effectively, we must quantify their economic effects and understand what factors lead to their adoption. In this course, we will therefore use quantitative or qualitative analysis and technical knowledge of clinical plant science to approach issues in food, agriculture, and environment, from an economics perspective.

Each student in this seminar should search to read academic papers on previous studies about their thesis topic or collect and analyse indispensable data.

Final grade will be evaluated from three perspectives. Firstly the process of writing a graduation thesis (40%), secondly quality level of the submitted thesis (30%), finally your ability to write a thesis and rating at the final presentation (30%).
