Outline (in English)

The study I for undergraduate thesis project should provide the student with knowledge of how to seek scientific facts and how to plan, carry out and present experiments and/or epidemiology on a life-science as well as theoretical and practical specialization within a plant clinic area, especially plant virus diseases on horticultural plants. The standard study time for this class is 4 hours, including preparation and review. Continuously and proactively carry out independent research from the third year after being assigned to a laboratory. Students will strive to improve their ability to decipher English academic papers. About 80% of the evaluation will be based on the ability to present and answer questions in the seminar, the ability to collect information on relevant academic papers and the ability to understand them, and about 20% will be based on the preparation of an introductory draft of the graduation thesis and a list of collected papers, for a comprehensive evaluation.
