Outline (in English)

As the use of artificial intelligence (AI) becomes widespread, it becomes ever more important that we humans apply our knowledge to grapple with questions that lack definitive answers, generate new ideas, and create novel technologies. Another essential skill will be the ability to convey new ideas and opinions clearly. In this class, we will take up various social issues as themes and engage in group activities and presentations to help students develop their presentation skills.
To get credit in this subject, students need to collect materials and information with Hosei university library and WEB for group discussion and presentations in class, and also to prepare slides and practice presentations.
Students are evaluated for group activity and presentation from the perspective of three points: assessment by oneself (35%), by other members in this class (35%), and by the instructor (30%).
