Outline (in English)
Students experience the internship jobs in the clinical plant science-related facilities, such as governmental or municipal research centers, farming fields, and the facilities of the private company. The aim of this course is to help students acquire not only the on-site knowledge in this field but also the variety of skills to cope with the systems of modern society.
The goals of this course are to understand the role of plant clinical science in today's society through practical training, and to develop presentation skills to communicate this understanding to others.
Before training, students will be expected to gather information on potential companies and government agencies through the Internet, etc., and plan the content of the training with their own career path in mind. After the training, students are required to prepare reports, materials, and presentations to report on the training to the class. Your required study time is at least four hours for each class.
The grade will be evaluated comprehensively (100%) based on the practical training at the training site, evaluation by the training site company, training reports, and the contents of the presentation at the workshop.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
社会の様々な活動に植物医科学がどの様な形で関係しているのかを肌で感じること、実際に発生する植物の病気を自らの目で観察すること、植物医科学に関係する試験研究を体験することなどを目的とする。本研修は、進路を決めるための情報や、社会における植物医科学の役割について考えをまとめる機会を提供し、後に卒業研究テーマなどについても幅広い視野で捉えるために重要である。なお、樹木医補資格取得の単位として本科目を履修希望するものは、生命科学部「履修のてびき」における樹木医補関連の記述および「分野別対応表」を確認すること。
到達目標Goal
植物医科学の現在社会における役割を実習を通じて理解し、理解した内容を他者に過不足なく伝達できるプレゼンテーション能力を涵養する。

＜＜授業の案内は、学習支援システムに掲載し、お知らせメールで通知します＞＞研修先は種苗・園芸・造園業や食品関連の企業、地方自治体や国の行政機関、農業試験場、農業生産の現場など、異なるタイプの職場を設定する。まずは自分の進路を想定して研修先を決定し、決定後は研修先担当者と直接連絡を取り合いながら研修計画を作成する。研修期間中は担当者の指示に従って研修を行い、研修日誌を毎日作成する。研修終了後は必要であれば研修先にてレポート提出、プレゼンテーションを行う。また、学科内においても事後報告書（研修レポート）を提出し、研修内容を発表会においてプレゼンテーションを行う。フィードバックは、インターンシップ先ごとに決められた担当教員がそれぞれ学生とやり取りするとともに、プレゼンテーション後に総括コメントを伝えることによって行う。

【本授業の準備・復習等の授業時間外学習は、4時間を標準とする】あらかじめ研修先候補となる企業、行政機関に関する情報をインターネット等で収集し、自分の進路を想定した研修内容を計画すること。また、研修終了後は研修内容をクラス内で報告するためのレポート、資料作成、プレゼンテーション（発表）練習が必要である。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
研修先における実習への出席状況、研修先企業等からの実習態度評価、および研修レポート、発表会における発表内容等により総合的に（100%）判断する。

国や地方の試験場等で、植物保護の実務経験を持つ教員、および民間企業で研究開発の勤務経験を持つ教員が、各インターンシップ先で実りある時間を過ごせるようにサポートする。
