Outline (in English)

The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding and skills of the DNA cloning techniques associated to plant pathogens. This course also deals with the diagnosis of mite by both morphological analysis and sequencing analysis. In addition, it also enhances the development of diagnosis skill in plant diseases. Before/after each experiment, students will be expected to spend two hours to understand the course content. Students are required to submit a notebook and a report on their work, which will be used to judge whether the student understands the purpose and content of the experiment (78%). Normal points such as experimental attitude (22%) will be also considered for final grade.
