Outline (in English)

In "Plant therapy", students learn the concept of effective utilization of plants in medical, health, and welfare situations through active work of growing plants and passive actions that utilize the benefits of plants, as well as clinical practices in hospitals and other facilities.

The goal of the course is to understand why plant-related activities can be used in therapy, or medical therapy, and to understand the multifaceted medical value of plants. We expect that learning and practicing phytotherapy as a medical technique for people in need of support will be a meaningful knowledge based on the importance of the natural environment and symbiosis, which can be seen in the SDG's movement.

Final grade will be decided based on the following: term-end examination(40%), mini-test or report(20%), questions and answers in class(20%), in-class contribution(20%).
