[Outline of the course].
The purpose of this lecture is to deepen the understanding of "Advanced Science" through several experiments and exercises.

[Learning objectives]
The learning objectives of this course are to acquire basic knowledge and to use it as a stepping stone to enter more specialized topics according to the research fields of each faculty member.

[Learning activities outside the classroom]
Students are expected to submit a report at the end of the sub-term based on the results of the sub-term assignments and experiments.
[Grading Criteria/Policies].
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
sub-term-end reports : 80%, contribution of each sub-term experiments: 20%.
