Outline (in English)

This course introduces the physics of vibration phenomena. The objective is to understand the physics of vibration through specific phenomena in mechanics and electromagnetics. Students will learn to model and derive mathematical equations in accordance with the laws of physics for time-varying and propagating phenomena such as vibration, wave phenomena, periodic and one-shot phenomena in various fields, especially the behavior of electromagnetic fields, electromagnetic wave phenomena, and signal transmission and response. Equation solving exercises and discussion of the results are also included. Students will also attempt to increase the complexity and precision of the model, and understand the relationship and differences between the model of principle and actual phenomena. The standard preparation and study time for this class is 4 hours each. Assignments (reports and exercises) will be given in class. Evaluation will be based on the overall evaluation of the student's performance, reports, etc. (50%) and the final examination (50%).
