Outline (in English)

（Course outline）
This course introduces data science methods and teaches presentation and writing techniques to students taking this course.

（Learning Objectives）
Learn how to solve issues in economy and management based on machine learning or statistics approach, and improve presentation ability.

（Learning activities outside of classroom）
Before/after each class meeting, students are expected to read the relevant books, understood the content, and completed the required assignments.

（Grading Criteria /Policy）
The evaluation will be based on class performance (50%), reeport (30%) and a final presentations (20%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives

経済や経営の課題を発見し、統計学や機械学習の手法で分析し、解決する。レポート作成の中で文書作成の標準的ルールの習得並びにプレゼンテーションの能力などを高めることをめざす。

到達目標Goal

次年度に卒業研究を開始するための問題意識をもち，それに対するアプローチに関するデータサイエンスの知識や技法を身につけることを目標とする。
