Outline (in English)

This course deals with the basic concepts of Fourier series, Fourier transformations, and Laplace transformations.
(Goal)
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
1) Understanding the fundamental concepts of Fourier series, Fourier transformations, and Laplace transformations.
2) Calculating Fourier series, Fourier transformations, and Laplace transformations for basic functions.
3) Applying those techniques to solve differential or integral equations.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four
hours to understand the course content.
(Grading Criteria)
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following: Short reports 40%, Term-end examination 60%. Those with a low attendance or report-submission rate cannot take the exam.
