Outline (in English)
（Course outline）
Learn the basic concept of discrete mathematics and understand precise logical development based on it. Learn important methods of discrete mathematics and deepen your understanding of discrete mathematical thinking and key results.
(Learning Objectives)
Learn about discrete mathematics and deepen your understanding of mathematics dealing with discrete objects. In addition, students will develop the ability to understand the contents of mathematics in junior high school and high school in a systematic way and to think about discrete mathematics from a bird's-eye view.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
Students are encouraged to prepare for the textbook and solve the exercises (or assignments) corresponding to the previous lesson.
(Grading Criteria)
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
Short reports 30%, Term-end examination 70%.

離散数学の基本概念を学び，それに基づく緻密な論理展開を理解する．そして離散数学の重要な手法に習熟し，離散数学の考え方や主要な結果について理解を深める．
到達目標Goal
離散数学について学び，離散的な対象を扱う数学についての理解を深める．また，中学校・高等学校での内容を発展的に捉え，離散数学について俯瞰的・体系的な考察ができる能力を養う．

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
離散的な対象を扱う数学について十分に理解したかを評価する．また，離散数学について俯瞰的・体系的な考察ができる能力が身についたかを評価する．
成績は，期末試験，演習課題等の成績を総合的に判断して評価する．
期末試験を７０％，演習課題等を３０％として成績をつける．
成績評価の方法と基準を変更する場合がある．その場合の具体的な方法と基準は，担当教員が学習支援システムで提示する．
