Outline (in English)

Course Outline and Learning Objectives: This course provides introduction to measurement engineering with particular emphasis on mathematical study of dimensional analysis, theory of error, and compressed representation of observed data. Also includes sensing of geometric configuration, color, and depth information as well as sensibility evaluation by human.
Grading Criteria /Policy: Students are graded by comparative validation of their scores achieved at semester final exam and accomplishment report of homework assignments.
Learning Activities Outside of Classroom: Students are expected to carry out an intensive review after the class through practicing similar problems given as homework assignments.
