Outline (in English)

This course deals with the basics of electromagnetism for understanding the hardware of embedded systems. Hardware of embedded systems are composed of electronic devices and electronic circuits. The operating principle of these electronic devices and electric circuits is based on electromagnetism.
【Goal】
Learn the basic concepts of electricity such as electric charge, electric current, electric field, and magnetic field, and various electromagnetic laws related to them. The goal of the lecture is to finally reach Maxwell's equation, which expresses the behavior of electromagnetic waves.
【Learning activities outside of classroom)】
The standard time to spend preparing and reviewing this lesson is 4 hours. Look up related technologies in advance with reference books. Read back the lecture materials from the last time and review them thoroughly.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Grades are evaluated based on final exams, tests, and final reports. 70 points for the final exam or final report assignment, and 30 points for the tests. Pass 60 points or more. Attendance rate of 70% or higher is required for grade evaluation.
