Outline (in English)

Cognitive psychology aims to understand human as information processing system. I will introduce various fields in cognitive psychology. Especially I focus on the visual processing such as visual perception or Kansei cognition.

The goals of this course are to learn findings in cognitive psychology and understand the characteristics of human information processing. Students will also understand the basics of how to acquire psychological data.

Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content. Students also need to write a report of psychological experiment.

Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following.
Experiment report: 70%、Short reports (Questions and comments): 30%
