Outline (in English)

Information engineering is a comprehensive academic field that collectively refers to technologies for applying information. In this course, we will learn core elements of information engineering including computer hardware and software, network and communication technology, information processing technology and their related fields through the introduction of practical research cases of faculty staffs.
【Goal】
Get an overview of computer hardware and software, network technology, communication technology, and information processing technology. Learn about the history of the historical development of these technologies, their impact on society, and understand the significance of learning information engineering.
【Learning activities outside of classroom)】
Report assignments are presented each time. Review the content of the lecture, investigate related techniques, and create a report on the problem based on it.The standard time to spend preparing and reviewing this lesson is 4 hours.

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Grades are evaluated based on the content of the submitted report.
