Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
Learn the basics of the complex function theory.
(Goal)
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
1) Acquiring the differentiation and integration of complex functions
2) Understanding (complex) exponential, triangular, and logarithmic functions and their calculation
3)Understanding Cauchy integral formula and residue theorem, and their applications
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
Students are encouraged to prepare for the textbook and solve the exercises (or assignments) corresponding to the previous lesson.
(Grading Criteria)
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
Short reports 40%, Term-end examination 60%.
