Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
Digital circuits are used in various information and communication systems. The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the fundamental principles of combinational logic circuit to design digital circuits.

(Learning objectives)
By the end of the course, students are expected to acquire following
skills
- Understanding of simplification of Boolean function
- Design of basic digital circuits

(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours
to understand the course content. Moreover, additional work is expected
in case the report is assigned as homework.

(Grading Criteria)
Term-end examination : 60%, In class contributions 40%
