Outline (in English)

The aim of our course is to help students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to solve the partial differential equations with the significance in the introduction to the elementary mathematical physics. In our course, we give participants the mathematical exercises to calculate the solutions by hand. Our course mainly deal with Fourier series with the applications in the introduction to mathematical physics. The goals of this course are to deduce the general solution formula of partial differential equations and to be able to solve exercises of partial differential equation problems easily. Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than two hours for a class experiment. Your overall grade in the class
decided based on the following
Term-end examination: 90%, Short reports 10%.
