Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
In this lecture, the students will learn to derive the dynamic equations of mechanical engineering systems. In particular, the students will learn about solution of static problems using vectors, various coordinate systems and coordinate transformation, kinetic and potential energy, force and moment, and equations of motion.
【Learning Objectives】
The students will understand:
1)Theory of vectors and its application in machine dynamics.
2)The kinematics and dynamics of mass particle.
3)The kinetic and potential energy.
4)The equations of motion of the dynamical system.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend 4 hours to understand the course content.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
The total score of 60 or more out of 100 is considered acceptable.
