Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
This course provides an introduction to basic concepts of various energies and the energy conversion technologies from one of energy to other energy. additionally, this course provides energy conversion technologies relate to the realization of high conversion efficiency, effective utilization, and environmental harmony.

(Learning objectives)
The aim of this course is to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts of energy and energy conversion technology.

(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.

(Grading criteria/Policies)
Your final grade will be decided according to the following process:
・The ratio of class attendance over 70%(over 10/14) will be decided the final grade.
・Exercises in lecture 30%, and term-end report 70%.
To pass, students must earn at least 60 points out of 100.
