Outline (in English)

This course deals with fundamentals of theory of plasticity.
The goals of this course are followings: 1) understanding technical words for theory of plasticity; 2) understanding principal stress and yield criterions; 3) acquiring the incremental strain theory and the
total strain theory.
Before/after each class meeting, student will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the term-end examination (60%), short reports (30%), and in-class contributions (10%). Depending on COVID-19 situations, the term-end examination can change to the term-end report.
