Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
The objective of this course is to train the students to acquire the basic knowledge and skills in robot sensing, actuators, robot kinematics and dynamics.
【Learning Objectives】
Students will learn and understand the following topics:
Robot kinematics;
Rotation matrix, coordinate transformation, homogeneous transformations;
Joint variables and gripper position;
Jacobian matrix and its applications;
Robot dynamics.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend 4 hours to understand the course content.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
The total score of 60 or more out of 100 is considered acceptable.
