Outline (in English)
【Course outline】
This class aims to deepen the practical understanding of the shape and structure of mechanical parts by acquiring intermediate level operation regarding modeling of mechanical products by 3D CAD experience.
【Learning Objectives】
Understand most of the functions of 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and be able to fully utilize them for mechanical design.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Students are expected to study for 4 hours outside of class time, including preparation and review for this class.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
The overall evaluation will be based on class efforts (30%), assignment submission (40%), and project (30%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
本授業は、3D CADによる機械製品のモデリングに関して、中級程度の操作を習得することにより、機械部品の形状や構造に関しての実践的な理解を深めることを目的とする。
到達目標Goal
3D CAD（SolidWorks）の機能の大半を理解し、機械設計に対して十分に活用できるようになる。
