Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
This course is to learn the basic operation of 3D CAD which is widely used at industrial field. Through the operation, recognition and expression of 3D shape of machine parts and assembly are acquired.

【Learning Objectives】
At the end of the course, students are expected to achieve the following skills.
1. To understand the concept and basic operation of mechanical 3D CAD.
2. To understand the basic rules of mechanical drafting.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
The standard study time for this class is 4 hours, including preparation and review. Students are expected to complete and submit the exercises given as assignments at home.

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Evaluation method: Students will be evaluated comprehensively based on their submission of CAD exercises and their performance in the comprehensive exercises.
Evaluation criteria: Students who achieve a total of 60% or more will pass the course.
