Outline (in English)
【Course outline】
This course is to learn the basic operation of 3D CAD which is widely used at industrial field. Through the operation, recognition and expression of 3D shape of machine parts and assembly are acquired.
【Learning Objectives】
At the end of the course, students are expected to achieve the following skills.
1. To understand the concept and basic operation of mechanical 3D CAD.
2. To understand the basic rules of mechanical drafting.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
The standard study time for this class is 4 hours, including preparation and review. Students are expected to complete and submit the exercises given as assignments at home.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Evaluation method: Students will be evaluated comprehensively based on their submission of CAD exercises and their performance in the comprehensive exercises.
Evaluation criteria: Students who achieve a total of 60% or more will pass the course.

ものづくり現場においては機械製図の素養が必須であり、そのツールとして広く利用されている3次元CADの基本操作を学ぶことで、物体の形状把握や表現法を習得する。

1．機械系3次元CADの概念と基本操作を理解する。
2．機械製図の基本的なルールを理解する。

授業は対面授業を基本とし、オンライン授業を併用する。
JIS機械製図の手法を説明しながら、簡単な機械要素の製図を通じて、物体表現の方法と3次元CADの特徴および基本的な操作法を実習によって習得する。提出された課題に対して適宜フィードバックを行うとともに、その後の授業内容に対してそれを反映する。
Classes will be based on face-to-face instruction, with online instruction.
While explaining the JIS mechanical drafting methods, students will learn how to represent objects, the features of 3D CAD, and basic operation methods through practical training by drafting simple machine elements. Feedback will be given on the submitted assignments as appropriate, and the feedback will be reflected in the content of subsequent classes.

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
評価方法： CAD演習の提出状況と、総合演習の出来具合で総合的に評価します。
評価基準： 合計で60%以上を達成したものを合格とする。
