Outline (in English)
【Course outline】This is a reading class for articles on current affairs written in French. Learn the passive voice, present participle and gerondif, conditional mood, and subjunctif mood that you haven’t learned last year so that you can read actual sentences written in French with a dictionary.
【Learning Objectives】We aim to be able to pronounce correctly in French even at first sight, and to be able to understand the contents by examining the meaning of words in a dictionary. We will also review the knowledge of grammar of level 4 of the French test.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】 Preparation study and review time is set to be 1 hour in total. Practice pronunciation by the time using the audio on the textbook publisher's website. Let's examine the meaning of the word and prepare the translation that the content will be transmitted properly in class. The nominated student should be prepared to develop from the theme and present the results of the research for the next presentation format.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】Comprehensive evaluation of 30% of normal points such as reading aloud, Japanese translation, presentation, etc. in class and 70% for final exams or assignments will be given.

「フランス語1」で学んだ文法事項を復習しながら、時事問題の記事を読む講読の授業です。昨年度にはまだ学習していない受動態、現在分詞とジェロンディフ、条件法、接続法なども習得してフランス語で書かれた文章を辞書さえあれば読めるようになりましょう。
到達目標Goal
初見のフランス語でも正しく発音ができ、辞書で単語の意味を調べれば内容を理解することができるレベルを目指します。フランス語検定4級程度の文法の知識も復習します。

まず音読練習をして、それから日本語に訳してみましょう。訳をつけるのに必要な文法事項を復習し、新しい語彙や言い回しも学習します。読んだ内容を発展させてより詳しく調べた結果を、毎回1～2名ずつパワーポイント等により発表してもらいそれについてグループディスカッションを行います。音読パートは出版社のサイトにある音声教材であらかじめ練習をして、授業では確認をしながら声に出してみましょう。教科書を3章読んだら、4回目は簡単な文章で書かれたフランス語の実際の新聞記事を使って進度を確認します。フランス語検定の過去問題でも実力を確認しましょう。音読・日本語訳は一人ずつで行いますが、ディスカッションは4～5名のグループで行います。
In the first three classes, students will learn the following textbooks of last year: Passive, Present Participle and Jerondif, Subjunctive mood, and Conjonctif mood. After that, we will learn one lesson at a time in one class using a text for reading. First of all, let's practice reading aloud, and then translate it into Japanese. You will review the grammar necessary to translate and learn new vocabulary and phrasings. Each time, one or two students will do a presentation by PowerPoint in class, and a group discussion will be held about the results of further investigation by developing the contents read. Practice the aloud part in advance with the audio teaching materials on the publisher's website, and let's speak out while checking in class. After reading three chapters of the textbook, the fourth time we will check our progress using the actual French newspaper article written in a simple sentence. Check your skills also in past French test questions. Reading aloud and translating in Japanese are conducted by one person, but discussions are held in groups of 4 to 5 people. Please submit the posted materials after exchanging questions and presenting questions at the e-mail address you will be shown in the first class.

本授業の準備学習・復習時間は、合わせて1時間を標準とします。教科書出版社のサイトにある音声を使って、授業までに発音を練習しておきましょう。単語の意味を調べて、内容がきちんと伝わる訳を準備しておきましょう。指名された担当者は、テーマから発展させて調べた結果を次回プレゼン形式で発表できるように準備しましょう。
