In this course, students will learn how to effectively communicate using English. The course places strong emphases on speaking and writing skills, in addition to reading and listening skills.

The course objectives are as follows:
1. Students will be more confident in communicating their opinions and ideas.
2. Students will acquire appropriate vocabulary and phrases in order to express their ideas.
3. Students will become more comfortable in using English at given situation.

The class follows the textbook and focuses on grammar structures and speaking activities. Students are expected to actively participate in classroom activities through pair work and group work. Students are also required to complete homework assignments to review the materials covered in class. Individual feedback on students' work will be provided as well as a general feedback to the class.
