Outline (in English)

Industrialization of sports is spreading in our society. There are two different kinds of sports marketing: marketing through sports and marketing of sports. Considering the role of sports marketing, this course emphasizes the importance that sports marketing needs to serve the development of sports culture and to generate public benefit. The aim of this course is to help you to understand the basic theories and practical phenomena in the field of sports marketing such as professional sports organizations and sporting companies.
Your study time will be more than four hours for a class. Students will be expected to have read the relevant chapter(s) from the text. Please review the contents of the textbook and materials covered in each class.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Term-end examination: 30%、The required assignments in each class : 70%
