Outline (in English)

In this lecture, we will discuss the fundamentals of solid-state spectroscopy and the applied research for advanced functional materials, which are necessary for elucidating their physical and chemical properties and analyzing their electronic states. In this lecture, we will mainly discuss the basic theories and analytical methodologies of light absorption, light emission, and vibrational spectroscopy of solid materials, solid-state NMR and ESR spectroscopy as well as application in advanced materials research.
