Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
This course deals with techniques to understand, consider and solve basic subjects of chemistry through using Wolfram Mathematica. It also enhances learning how to visually perceive subjects using Mathematica's advanced graphic functions.
(Learning Objectives)
Students will acquire an understanding of
-- the basics of using Mathematica,
-- how to use Mathematica to deal with a variety of chemistry problems, and
-- how to create the appropriate graphs and diagrams for the characteristics of the problem.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
The problems dealt with in class are very basic in chemistry, so it should not be necessary to review them. Students should be refer to this syllabus and review if necessary.
As for Mathematica, you will learn new usages and functions in each lesson, so practice enough so that you can use it naturally from the next time onwards.
(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Grading will be decided based on the submission status and answer status of the assignments (100 %).
