Outline (in English)

This course provides lab students with research and experimental projects. Each student conducts the project under the advice of the supervisor. Students will acquire basic skills as research engineers.

Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to
spend four hours understanding the course content.

The final grade will be calculated according to the research
reports and presentation (70%), and research achievements such as the paper submission to the international conferences (30%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives

専攻分野で研究テーマを定め、指導教員のもとで研究や実験を行なう。実験を進める上では、指導教員と密に接触し、実験の経過報告、討論を行なう。実験，実習を中心として，技術者、研究者としての素養を身に付け、応用情報工学分野で活躍できる基礎力を養うことを目的としている。各ゼミにてそれぞれ最新のテーマを設定する。

到達目標Goal

応用情報工学分野においてゼミごとに設定された研究テーマの実験・研究を教員の指導にしたがって遂行し，論文や国際会議・学会発表という形で外部に成果を発信する。
