情報ネットワーク、社会情報、生体情報、基礎、ユビキタス、人間環境の観点から研究・開発に取り組み、新しい価値の創造に資する能力を涵養する。In terms of Information network, Social realization, bio engineering, Computer science foundation,Ubiquitous computing, Human interaction/environment, students are to acquire abilities to persuade research and development.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
学生の専門に近い分野とそうでない分野からの与えられる解が1～2か月程度で得られることが想定されるテーマ（問題）に取り組む．研究の進め方，研究のまとめ方，論文の書き方，発表の仕方などを学ぶ．
The study themes of the specialized technical field and the general-purpose technical field are proposed. It is an aim to learn the process of study, the summary of the study, technical writing, and presentation method.
到達目標Goal
与えられた問題を解決し，小論文にまとめ，その内容をわかりやすく発表することができる．
The student is able to explain the technical report by solving the problem and summarizing the study.

オンラインでの開講となった場合，オンライン授業の方法や各回の授業計画の変更，成績評価方法の変更などについては，学習支援システムでその都度提示する．
出題教員と密に接触し，問題を解決する経過報告，討論を行う．1学期当たり２～３テーマに取り組み，それぞれのテーマに関して小論文を作成するとともに，結果を担当教員全員の前で発表する．
The student discuss the solution process of the proposed problem with the teacher, summarize the study, and present the results.
春学期の少なくとも前半はオンラインでの開講となる。それにともなう各回の授業計画の変更については、学習支援システムでその都度提示する。
Classes could be online. Changes in the lecture plan due to this shift will be announced on the learning support system.

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
オンラインでの開講となった場合，成績評価の方法と基準も変更する場合がある．
その場合の具体的な方法と基準は，担当教員が学習支援システムで提示する．
作成される小論文と成果発表に基づいて評価する．
Technical paper and presentation are examined.
小論文の作成60点、成果発表40点とし、総合で60点以上で合格とする。
