Outline (in English)

【Course outline】This course further examines social welfare system and care measures in the field of supporting older adults learned in the Specialized Course II A. Students are expected to single out their concrete research themes, set up research plans, conduct literature review as well as field work to present their resesarch outcome at the end of the course term.
【Learning Objectives 】The goal of this course is to deepen the understanding of the roles and support of those who support the parties who are facing various difficulties and problems in society as they work to solve their own problems, based on the knowledge and practice learned in Exercise IIA. Students will also develop research design skills to examine specific problem-solving methods.
【Learning activites outside of classroom】Students are expected to collect and organize literature and materials (newspapers, magazines, and the Internet) related to the topics they are interested in, with a view to writing a graduation thesis. The standard preparation time and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
【Grading criteria/Policies】Grading will be evaluated based on their attitude toward class participation and the content of their reports (60%) and their report assignments (40%).
