Outline (in English)

This unit develops understanding of the imperative knowledge to become the Licensed Psychologist. Theme includes ethical responsibilities, legal obligations, duty of care, managing information including confidentiality, collaboration with other professions, ability of problem solutions and self-development. Students examine roles in various practices and critical issues, and are expected to understand the awareness of high ethical sensitivity, professionalism, and the importance of continuing learning in individuals. After each class meeting, students will be expected to spend about two hours to understand the course content. Final grade will be decided based on the following : mid-term short test (5%), short reports (10%), term-end examination (30%), and in-class contribution (55%).
