Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
In this course, students learn about "experimental method" which is a typical research method in psychology, through planning and execution of experiments, statistical analysis of results obtained, and preparation of reports.

【Learning Objectives】
The purpose of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the basic techniques of experimental methods, to apply basic statistical analysis, and to acquire the basic ability to prepare reports in psychological formats.
1. to enhance initiative, ability to act and perform, and cooperation by learning basic techniques of psychological experiments through practical training.
2) To develop the ability to find problems, plan, and solve problems by learning that there are various experimental methods in psychology depending on the purpose.
To develop the ability to gather information, write, and think logically and multilaterally by learning how to write psychology experiment reports.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
You will be assigned a report for each experiment in the class (5 in total), so please prepare an experiment report. Some of the work for the experiment reports will be done outside of class. The standard preparation and review time for this class is one hour in total.

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Students will be required to submit reports for each experiment within the specified deadline (5 reports in total). Students will be graded on the basis of the total of the evaluations (100 points) for each report (20 points for each).
