Outline (in English)
【Outline】
You will learn self-introduction based on the grammar of Japanese Sign Language(JSL), and you will be able to talk with teacher, students.
In addition, you will learn about the culture and history on the Deaf communities.
【Learning Objectives】
The target levels are as follows.
・Speak and read numbers and finger-spelling.
・Speak self-introduction (Name, Student ID number, Residence, Hobbies, Family).
・You will be able both reading and answering in JSL.
You will understand the knowledge of life and behavior on the Deaf culture.
【Method】
JSL is the visual language, so you learn watching me.
Basically without voice, and it will be promoted with voice by JSL Interpreter.
You will get accustomed the pointing and calling of Deaf behaviors.
I may take several tests to confirm your reading and speaking. It does not affect your grades.
When Online-lesson, we will face-to-face. I will tell you to submit your own videos, so we will use Google Classroom.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
You must to review JSL expression.
At the beginning of the lessons, I will check your expressions.
The standard study / review time for this lesson is one hour.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
<Regular Test>
・You can express myself in JSL.
・You can read JSL.
・You can read questions and answer in JSL.
<Scoring>
・Final exam (100%)
<Required>
・Being able to master the expressions of finger-spelling and numbers
・You express smoothly your name and student ID number.
・You can express such as family and hobbies etc. in JSL.
【Equipment student needs to prepare】
・You will be able to record your own JSL by smartphone, etc.
・You will be able to allow your videos for uploading to the Google Classroom.
【Others】
Set with the fall semester.
While watching me, move your hands and remember as same as me. In addition, we will talk while watching each other's conversations between students. Frequently instruct "Please look me(teacher)". Please see the teacher immediately. I think that you don't have to look at teacher from beginning to end. But the lesson must be see. You maybe get tired due to unfamiliarity. Let's do it.

日本手話の文法に則った自己紹介を習得し、講師及び履修生同士のコミュニケーションができるようにします。
他に、ろう社会の文化や歴史などを学びます。
到達目標Goal
数字と指文字の表現、読取りができる。
自己紹介（名前、学籍番号、住まい、趣味、家族）を表現できる。
手話で、質問を読み取って、回答できる。
ろう文化について、生活行動に関する知識を得て、理解できるようにする。

授業の進め方と方法Method(s)（学期の途中で変更になる場合には、別途提示します。 /If the Method(s) is changed, we will announce the details of any changes. ）
手話は視覚言語ですので、終始、講師を見ながら学びます。
基本的に音声なしですが、内容によって、音声付きで進めることがあります。
指差しや呼びかけなど、ろう文化特有の行動に慣れてもらいます。
読取りの確認のため、小テストを行うことがありますが、成績に関わりません。
オンライン授業の場合、全員顔出しで進めます。
各自の動画を提出することがあります。Google Classroomを使います。

講師を見ながら手を動かして覚えていきます。
また、履修生同士の会話もお互いに見ながら会話します。
頻繁に「（先生を）見て下さい」と指示します。すぐ先生を見るようにして下さい。
今までの授業は音声中心であり、終始見なくても良いですが、当授業は、目で見なければなりません。
不慣れなどで疲れることがあると思います。かんばりましょう。
