Outline (in English)
Based on the previous course in the spring semester, this course is designed to further develop students' interest and knowledge about current domestic and global topics. By the end of the course, students would be able to give a presentation in English on a topic they have learnt through English news media.
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting.
After each class meeting, students will be expected to spend two hours to understand the course content.
Grading will be based on in class contribution (40%), short reports (30%), and quizzes (30%).

時事英語Aでの学習内容を踏まえて，英語メディアを通して国内外の時事問題についての知識をより深め，学んだ内容を英語で発表することを目的とする。
到達目標Goal
関心がある時事問題について，英語メディアの情報を検索し知識を深めること。
学んだ時事問題について英語でプレゼンテーションができること。

時事問題に関するハンドアウトを用いてリーディングの演習活動を行います。
第2回目から授業の最初に小テストを実施します。
