Outline and objectives

This course will improve students overall English ability.

Goal

This course is a continuation from the previous semester. It will help students improve their speaking, reading and listening comprehension in English. The class also offers cultural insights with a variety of exercises that will encourage student participation and enhance their desire to continue studying English.

Course Goals:
1. Increasing students confidence and fluency in speaking and presentation
2. Teaching students useful words and expressions
3. Giving students practice at listening, reading and writing.

This course will present specific cultural topics to students. We will do listening, speaking, reading and writing activities. We will listen to dialogues, learn new vocabulary and phrases, practice grammar, and talk about many different topics in English.

At the end of each lesson, general feedback will be given to class. In addition, students will receive both group and individual feedback in class. Students' presentations will also be followed by feedback from instructor.
