Outline (in English)

We, human beings live in the nature of the earth. In this course you learn about the basic phenomena and mechanisms related to earth science. And then aims to enable to consider better relationship between the nature and human society.
The goals of this course are
to understand phenomena on the earth based on scientific evidence.
to be able to obtain and utilize information about nature.
to acquire the basic skills to consider the relationship between human society and earth science.
Grading will be decided based on submission of assignments each week (50%), and term-end examination (50%).
