Outline (in English)
【Course outline】
The purpose of this course is to acquire basic knowledge and skills such as literature collection, group work, field work, and presentation in preparation for activities in the next year Seminar. Exploring individual interests is also required.
【Learning Objectives】
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
・To deepen understanding and interest in Well-being which is faculty's philosophy.
・To collect literature appropriately according to their interests.
・To constructively exchange opinions with others.
・To collaborate with group members in planning, literature/data collection, and presentation.
・To express one's own opinions and ideas in an academic manner.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
As the class is mainly based on group work, each student is expected to collect and read literature outside the class.
【Grading Criteria/Policy】
Your overall grade in the class will be decided comprehensively based on the following:
50% in-class contribution, and 50% reports and other assignments.

次年度からの専門演習での活動を見据えて、文献収集・グループワーク・フィールドワーク・プレゼンテーションなどの基礎的な知識やスキルを身につけます。また、自らの興味関心を探っていきます。
到達目標Goal
以下の項目を達成することを目指します。
・学部の理念であるWell-beingについての理解や関心を深める。
・関心に沿って、適切に文献収集を行う。
・他者と建設的に意見交換を行う。
・グループのメンバーと協力し合い、計画立案・情報収集・プレゼンテーション等を行う。
・自らの意見や考えを、学術的な作法に基づいて表明する。

グループワークを中心に、適宜資料を配布しながら学習を進めます。リアクションペーパーや課題に対するフィードバックは、主に授業内で行います。

グループを決定し、ディスカッションを通してテーマの決定などを行う。

データ収集の方法を学び、アプローチの対象や方法を選定する。

フィールドに出るためのマナーや方法を学び、準備を行う。

授業はグループワークが中心となるため、各自授業外で文献収集や文献精読などの学習を行うことが求められます。
