(Course outline)
This class aims to implement case studies of teaching practices, developments of lesson plans, and practices and reviews of simulated lessons with groups and individuals using the basic understanding of the history of social studies and civic education, the goals and contents in the National Courses of Study, and teaching materials research and learning methods.
(Learning Objectives)
Aiming to develop the qualities and abilities required as teachers of junior high school social studies (civilian field) and high school civilian studies, understand the goals and contents of education, create learning guidance plans based on learning guidance theory, and give classes. be able to.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
The method of preparation and review will be instructed at the time of class. In particular, be sure to prepare for the relevant parts of the distributed prints, textbooks, and junior high and high school "Course of Study" related to the lessons.
・ According to the lesson theme of your choice, make use of the summer vacation to create a lesson plan and submit it at the first class of the fall semester. * This is mandatory.
・ Always read the newspaper in case of current affairs that are taken up in each class.
・The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Evaluation will be made by comprehensively considering the attitude of participation in the lesson (10%), impressions submitted every hour, learning guidance plan, mock lesson (30%), and examination (60%). It may change depending on the class format.
