Outline (in English)

In this lecture, people aiming for the teaching profession will learn fundamental matters related to teaching jobs, and will decide their aptitude and will aim to raise motivation for the teaching profession. We will examine the current situations of school education and school teachers, their careers, future issues and so on.
In this class, students will consider teaching as one of their future options, and will gain a basic understanding of the significance of the teaching profession, the role of teachers, their qualifications and abilities, and their duties. They will also consider what it means to be a teacher, what they need to learn and acquire in order to do so, and determine their own aptitude and motivation for the teaching profession.
The standard amount of time for learning activities outside of classroom is four hours each, including writing a reaction paper after class and preparing to submit two scheduled assignments.
Evaluations will be based on a comprehensive assessment of the student's independent participation in the class (submitting comments after class) (40%) and the two scheduled assignments(60%).
