Outline (in English)

This course introduces the basics of Newtonian mechanics and thermal dynamics, which are fundamental fields in physics.
The goal of this course is to understand not only contents of each physics law, but also the relation between various phenomena and physics law.
Before and after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend totally four hours to understand the course content.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
Term-end report (60%) and in class contribution including short reports (40%).
