Outline (in English)

  The basis ability of the elementary knowledge, the investigation and the study of the physiography which made the aqueous environment the center is acquired.
I also put on basic knowledge about a geographical spatial information analysis and bring the ability for which GIS can be utilized freely up.
Acquire basic knowledge of physical geography centered on the water environment and basic abilities of research and research.
For geospatial information analysis, acquire basic knowledge and develop the ability to freely use GIS.
It focuses on exercises on specific issues in line with the lecture content of "Ocean / Limnology and Experiments I and II", but also covers literature in different fields related to environmental issues. In addition, we aim to acquire the basic abilities necessary for conducting research through issues such as analysis and plotting methods based on observation data obtained from field surveys from the selection of research themes.
Each time, multiple themes will be shared, materials such as abstracts will be submitted in advance, presentations will be made using PowerPoint, questions and answers will be given, and comments will be given as a summary.
In addition, we request the final submission of the so-called "seminar theory", and in order, (1) literature list, (2) literature review, (3) research plan, (4) research plan, (5) survey result report, (6) interim presentation, (7) final presentation, etc. Submit the regimen, make a presentation by PowerPoint, and give guidance based on the results.
Collect and organize information on the natural and water environment in general. Especially for newspaper articles, cut out and summarize the abstract according to the specified format. We also encourage attendance at related study groups, symposiums, and academic societies. The standard preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
The evaluation is carried out based on the normal points and the final seminar theory. It is hoped that the water environment of the study area will be surveyed in the literature in advance, the results of the literature survey on the given issues will be summarized and announced, and participation in the discussion will be held. The normal score is 50%, and the seminar theory is 50%.
