Outline (in English)

Course outline: This subject aims at the understanding of Earth Sciences.
Learning objectives: The goals of this course are to understand the basic knowledge of geology and petrology.
Learning activities outside of classroom: Students will be expected to spend four hours to read any books or watch DVD on the Earth Sciences.
Grading Criteria /Policy: Grading will be decided based on term-end examination (40%), short reports (10%) and in-class contributions (50%).
