Outline (in English)

(Course Outline)
This course aims to help students understand the European institutions that underpin the contemporary world by studying French history from the Ancient Régime to the Revolution. This course consists of lectures and discussions. I expect students to read assignments in advance.

(Learning activities outside of the classroom)
I expect students to have completed the required assignment before the discussion. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.

(Grading Criteria)
I will decide your overall grade in the class based on the following:
・Term-end examination(60%), and short reports and in-class contributions (40%)
