Outline (in English)

The basic idea of traditional psychology is to focus on the inner factors of human beings in order to elucidate various psycho-pathological phenomena. Social pathology, on the other hand, follows the trend of sociology and emphasizes the influence of social factors surrounding people. In this class, we will take up psycho-pathological phenomena such as suicide, crime, and eating disorder, and examine what social factors are behind them.
The preparation for the class such as reading research papers and/or books is required. Also the review is required. Total hours will be 2 hours for the preparation and 2 hours for the review.
Participation and attitude(50%), presentation(25%), reaction-paper(25%). This grading criteria may change according to the situation of COVID-19.
