Outline (in English)
This course provides elementary game theory, which is essential for economic analysis. Students also learn some basic economic applications.
By the end of the course, students are expected to:
A) understand the concepts of game theory and become able to explain them;
B) become able to capture real-life economic phenomenon by game theory, if applicable;
C) become able to analyze simple games.
The classes are planned to be provided as in-class lectures at the moment (as of mid of January). Class handouts will be available at Hoppii. Also, students will be assigned online assignments, which will be available at Hoppii. Feedback for the online assignments is also delivered through Hoppii.
The students' performance will be evaluated by the final exam (80%) and online assignments (20%).
