Outline (in English)
All the four skills for English communication are further developed through listening and interaction.
Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.):
①Sound files are to be used through Hoppi system.
②Writing on the BBS in Hoppi.
③Practice pronunciation twice a week with English Accent Coach.
Grading Criteria: Assessment of progress in English and the degree of involvement in activities are measured with documents and files submitted(50%), and the final examination(50%).
Others:
Hoppi, Hosei's LMS system, is used heavily in every class and outside the class. So is Google Classroom, Slides, Drive, etc.

リスニングと対話を軸にして会話表現を学びながら、リーディングとライティングを含む4技能をさらに強化します。

The students will further become able to listen to and talk in English more fluently as they improve reading and writing skills as well.

以下のタスクサイクルを2コマかけて実行する。
1コマ目：英語の歌を唄う、発音訓練プログラム、対話リスニング・ディクテーション、ディスカッション（録音）、言語的気づきの共有、プレゼンテーションを聞いてノート・テイク
2コマ目、プレゼンテーションスクリプトのディクテーション、読解、音読・シャドーイング、ロールプレイタスク、英作文（電子系掲示板にアップロード）
The learning cycle is as below: one unit in the textbook is covered in two class periods; in the first period, listening and discussion are followed by presentation listening with note taking; in the second period, dictation and shadowing of presentation script are followed by role play discussion and writing on bulletin board system in Hoppi.

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
平常点（50％）と期末テストの点数（50％）で総合的に評価。
平常点は、提出物、授業中の課題など、総合的に学習過程と成果物を見る。具体的には、教科書、ノート、印刷物にスタンプ（ハンコ）を押して学習を「見える化」し、学期末にその数を数えて平常点50%とする。例えば、返却する提出物、授業の最初における宿題実施の確認、授業の最後における活動実施の評価としてスタンプを押す。
提出物は文字に限らず音声ファイルや文字による掲示板投稿なども含む。

授業の進度は、学生の到達度をみながら調節するので、必ずしもシラバス通りに進めるとは限らない。
