Outline (in English)

This class aims at developing students’ basic knowledge of accurately constructing English sentences leading to writing paragraphs and essays in which students develop the foundations of academic writing. Attention will be paid to not merely translating to English, but to developing the awareness and skill of writing in a more English-like way, finding and researching good topics, and content-based writing. ・予備知識を提示するための聴解、問題意識を共有させるための議論、より深い内容理解のための推論を促す教師発問、内容理解の整理・進化のための英文要約をする。
・英文を英語で理解できるようにする。
・論理的構造のパラグラフを書く力をつける。
・TOEIC教材で650点とれる力をつける。

到達目標Goal

This subject aims to improve students' overall confidence in communicating and writing skills. It also aims at improving their listening skills by using the textbook for TOEIC.

授業の初めにコール教室教材を使用してリスニング力の増強をはかる。テキストは手本となるリーディングを基に文章校正や表限方法を学び、最後にパラグラフライティングをする。
