Outline (in English)
Course outline: This course deals with paragraph writing and interaction.
Learning Objectives: By the end of the course, students should be able to improve writing skills and gain proficiency in interaction skills,
Learning activities outside of classroom: Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend one hours to understand the course content.
Grading Criteria: Final grade will be calculated based on Classwork 30%, Quizzes 30% and Final Examination 40%.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
今まで習得した英語力を充実・発展させる。文法を確認し、英作文を反復して、英語力の定着を目標とする。パラグラフ・ライティングを自力で行うための土台づくりを行う。
到達目標Goal
学生は、正確な英語力を身につけ、辞書を使いながら、自分の力で英文を書くことができる。パラグラフ・ライティングを身につけ、まとまった文章を書くことができるようになる。

テキストで多様な英語を聴く、読む、書く練習をしていく。ボキャブラリービルディングを目指し、毎回、前回の復習単語テストを行う。英文を書くという語学的な技術を習得することに加え、現代社会の様々な問題を考える。
毎回、リアクションペーパーの提出を求める。

授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
テキストの予習は必須である。未知の単語は意味・用法を調べ、本文の全訳、問題の解答をしておく。
毎回、前回分の確認テストを行うので、復習しておくように。
本授業の準備学習・復習時間は合わせて1時間を標準とします。
